Biography
Jens-Peter Schneider is a professor of public law at Freiburg University (Germany).
He served as one of three reporters of the European Law Institute´s (ELI) project “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Public Administration – Developing Impact Assessments and Public Participation for Digital Democracy”. Schneider is now principle investigator in the international research group „INDIGO - Information in the EU’s Digitalised Governance“ with a focus on AI based governance tools of online platforms. Finally , he is one of the coordinators of the Research Network on EU Administrative Law (ReNEUAL) and co-author of the ReNEUAL Model Rules on EU Administrative Procedure.
