Public trust is a key component for the adoption and diffusion of newly emerging technologies, even more in the case of citizens’ everyday interaction with public administrations. The session will explore the challenges and opportunities of trustworthiness for public sector AI solutions, raising awareness on citizens’ concerns and accounting for potential threats of AI for public sector to fundamental rights
Speakers will discuss conditions and activities that promote trust towards AI solutions both for policy agencies and for citizens, and identify best practices and lessons learned for trustworthy public sector AI from existing implementations.
