Description
The JRC HUMAINT team will participate in this year's Andaluz.IA conference, across several sessions. Andaluz.IA aims at showcasing the research on AI developed by scientists in/from Andalusia and gathers multidisciplinary researchers working in the field of AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The conference is taking place at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática de la Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, on Friday 19 December.
The HUMAINT team leader, Emilia Gómez, will kick off by chairing the first keynote at 10:00, by María Dolores Romero from Copenhagen Business School.
In the session from 15:00-16:00, on the topic of AI Ethics & Society, two HUMAINT team members will contribute with presentations:
Robert Jungnickel, Researcher, JRC: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research – A Science for Policy, European Perspective.
David Fernández Llorca, Researcher, JRC: Can We Trust AI Benchmarks? An Interdisciplinary Review of Current Issues in AI Evaluation.
In addition, Raquel Fernández, who is currently a Visiting Scientist in the HUMAINT team, will also be presenting in the same session:
